Welcome to my blog! My name is Sarah and I left the United States in November 2015 to travel around the world and experience new things. Stay tuned to see what happens.

Who am I?

This is me.

I grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and after college moved to New York City to work for a large consulting firm. After working in consulting for a few years, I decided to say goodbye to traveling for work and hello to traveling for me!

The first time I went overseas, it was a trip to Italy with my high school Latin class. I got the bug. Since then, I studied abroad at Bocconi University in Milan and am always planning my next trip.

My Travels

One of the most common questions I get is “what is your plan?” And honestly, I don’t have a plan. If you know me well, you know I’m a planner. I’m taking this trip as a lesson in spontaneity. So I can tell you my first stop is Buenos Aires, Argentina… and that’s about it for now.

Eventually, I’ll make my way through South America, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. When, where, and how is part of the adventure.
